WWE 2K15 doesn't let you do anything fun like that. You could also fight in shopping malls and on oil derricks. For example, Wrestlemania XIX on the GameCube let you create a fighter who was on fire-WWE 2K15 lacks such craziness. It doesn't help that there are fewer customization options than in previous games in the series, even in games from generations ago. Oppressive loading permeates throughout the rest of the game, too. Each part selection is accompanied by a few seconds of loading, and considering the variety of choices (body art for the back, torso, left arm, right arm, choose your colors, hair styles, eye color, eye paint, scars, bowties, etc.) it can take forever to make a character. Then the game launched me into the next mini-game that involved twirling analog sticks around. Without any feedback, I had no idea what I was doing. I tapped without any indication I was doing well or doing poorly. The mini-game works like a game of rock-paper-scissors where Y beats X, B beats Y and X beats B. Press Y to grab your opponent in a side headlock, X for a wrist lock and B for a waist lock. These involve a bunch of awful button prompts that pop up to get you out of a neutral hold. To make fighting even more of a weird mess, WWE 2K15 introduces strange mini-games that are meant to replicate tie-ups and grapples.
Maybe your character will do what you want, but, more often, he won't. Animations, such as repelling off the ropes, are glitchy and unpredictable, too. You can punch, grab, and grapple opponents, but the attacks lack impact. Not to worry though, because WWE 2K15's gameplay is simplistic and lackluster.

There is no introductory mode to teach you how to play the game. This Wrestling IS Fake If you're thinking of getting into wrestling with WWE 2K15, don't. WWE All-Stars would have been more fitting considering the roster blends retro and current stars you'll find Booker T, The Rock, Goldust, and fifty-plus or so other superstars, divas, and managers. It features high-quality photos that adequately capture the heated moments of wrestling promotion.

Inconsistent, Outdated Once you boot up WWE 2K15 and install the lengthy 4.3GB update patch, you'll encounter one of game's best aspects: The menu screen. While WWE 2K15 has the famous brand and many of the familiar faces, its boring gameplay, lack of standard features, and numerous other flaws render this match a double disqualification. Unfortunately, wrestling games haven't improved much since then, as shown by 2K's WWE 2K15 ($59.99), which is available on PlayStation 4 ($499.00 at Amazon), Xbox One ($200.00 at eBay), and last-gen consoles. Several incredibly fun games have appeared over the years, including the Nintendo 64's WCW/nWo Revenge and GameCube's WWE Day of Reckoning 2.
